Xsense XRouter Pro with Airdock Mounting Bracket
To Be Shown at Macworld Expo

January 8, 2001, Santa Clara, CA -- Macsense Connectivity, a leader in Macintosh networking devices, announces the newest XRouter Pro - the MIH-130A. This newest member of the Macsense DSL/Cable Internet Sharing family boasts sleeker lines and an innovative design that allows Macintosh users to mount the AppleŽ Airport Base Station directly on top of the
MIH-130A. One of the most exciting features of this product, however, is the new lower cost. Company officials expect that the new XRouter Pro will hit the streets at under $150.

Macsense plans to unveil a complete new family of routers and switches that feature this unique mounting bracket so that users can easily and efficiently attach several devices. It is planned that this new family of products, known as the "X" family, will include a complete line of wireless products; however there is no official scheduled release date at the time of this writing.

The MIH-130A is completely compatible with all Macintosh computers, plus PC and Unix-based machines making it an ideal solution for mixed-platform environments. As with earlier models of the XRouter Pro, this new model offers easy installation, NAT security and a built-in 4-port 10/100 switch.

The GES-4000, a 4-Port Gigabit Copper Switch from Macsense will also be a featured product at this year's Macworld Expo. As all new Macintosh computers provide gigabit speed, Macsense believes that gigabit performance is crucial for today's networks. The GES-4000 lets users take advantage of less expensive copper cabling and features the ability to operate at 100 or 1,000 mbps allowing the GES-4000 to integrate seamlessly into existing networks.

Macsense products are known for their ease of installation and unparalleled technical support, which is always toll-free and free for the life of the product. There are no extended services agreements to sign or pay for. Macsense also updates its firmware bi-monthly. These upgrades are easily downloaded from the company's website and ensure that customers with earlier models of Macsense products always have the most recent firmware and advanced features available to them.
