Overview

The BlueICE Headset (BTi-660) is a versatile Bluetooth stereo headset and controller that allows you to control, listen from, and talk to your Bluetooth enabled devices.

When coupled with our BlueICE Transmitter for iPod (BTi-600), you can control and listen to your iPod music wirelessly.

BlueICE Headset is also compatible with other standard Bluetooth enabled devices, such as mobile phones, computers, and PDAs. With its built-in microphone, BlueICE Headset allows you to take calls and speak wirelessly. Use BlueICE Headset to carry a conversation on Skype, MSN Messenger, and other instant messaging software. Enjoy wireless music while you work on your computer.

Applications

When BlueICE Headset is coupled with BlueICE Transmitter for iPod (BTi-600), sold separately, you can control and listen to your iPod music wirelessly.

Use Navigational button on the BlueICE Headset to remotely control iPod, such as pausing, stopping, playback, forward, backward, and volume adjustment.

There are two ways that you can use the BlueICE Headset with the BlueICE Transmitter.

Private listening

The iPod with BlueICE transmitter can be safely stored in your pocket, nearby purse, or backpack, while you use BlueICE Headset to control and listen to music wirelessly.

In this setup, iPod is hidden from plain sight and can help deterring theft. Also, if you’re jogging on a treadmill, your iPod can be placed on a nearby flat surface and not be exposed to constant vibrations and shock.
 

Public listening

Another way to utilize the headset is to output audio from the BlueICE Headset to a stereo speaker or home stereo system (using the enclosed 3.5mm audio cable), and hold iPod with BlueICE Transmitter in your hand as you browse and select music to play.

In this setup, you and your friends/family can enjoy iPod music on a higher-quality speaker system, at the comfort of your couch, holding the iPod in you hand. In contrast with using iPod-docked speakers, or iPod direction connect to stereo with audio cable, no longer do you have to get up and walk to the iPod every time you want to see or change a song.
